Florence, a certified non-profit organization, is an official charity of the Tokyo Marathon Foundation Charity RUN with HEART.

Donors who donate 150,000yen or more to Florence and wish to participate in theTokyo Marathon 2027 Charity as Charity Runners to promote their charity activities.

How to participate: Those who donate 150,000yen or more to Florence and wish to participate in the Tokyo Marathon 2027 Charity as Charity Runners to promote their charity activities.
Selection method: 1） Florence Charity Runner Priority Slot (25 slots): Available to those who have previously participated as a Florence Charity Runner. In the event of high demand, slots will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
2) Florence Donor Priority Slot (6 slots): Available to those who have donated to Florence in the past. In the event of high demand, slots will be allocated based on factors such as cumulative donation amount and duration of continuous donation. Note: For those who have donated as Tokyo MarathonCharity Runners, selection criteria 2) will take precedence.
3) Donation Amount: Slots will be allocated in order of highest donation application amount. In the case of a tie, the first-come, first-served rule will apply.

Order of donation amount, first-come-first-served in case of equal amounts.
*Please note that the amount of the donation cannot be changed after the application has been submitted.

Donations only are also accepted!
Corporate applications: If you are applying for more than one person, you can apply for a charity application for the number of people.

Please note that one application must be submitted for each person running. You will also need to enter the information of the employee who will actually run in the race.

The Challenges Facing Single-Parent Households in Japan

About 44.5% of single-parent households in Japan live in relative poverty. Balancing work and childcare alone is an immense challenge. In fact, approximately 40% of working single mothers are in non-regular employment, with an average annual income of only around 1.5 million JPY.

Furthermore, the recent surge in prices for food and energy has placed an even greater burden on these families, making daily life increasingly difficult.

How Florence is Making a Difference

Florence strives for a society where every child can look toward the future with hope and a smile. Your donations will directly support single-parent households through these four key initiatives:

・Affordable Sick Child Care

For single parents who have no choice but to miss work to care for a sick child, repeated absences are directly linked to the fear of losing their job. To support families in these critical situations, we provide sick child care at an affordable rate. To date, we have supported a cumulative total of nearly 2,000 children through this service.

・SNS-Based Counseling & Support

We stay connected with isolated families through online platforms 24/7. Our specialists listen to their concerns and bridge the gap to government services to ensure no one is left behind.

・Providing Essentials & Building Connections

By delivering food and daily necessities to families facing financial hardship, we build trusting relationships that make it easier for them to share their concerns. This allows us to offer tailored support and solutions to their problems. In collaboration with organizations nationwide, we have reached 100,000 households in FY2025, and we plan to further strengthen these efforts moving forward.

・Encouraging Children’s Dreams and Experiences

We operate an "Experience Platform" that provides children with extracurricular activities and life-enriching experiences that they might otherwise miss due to financial or time constraints. Over 2,000 households are currently registered.
