「New mothers encouraged to re-join the workforce in Japan」
The Japanese government wants more women to return to the workforce after they have children.
Dubbed ‘women-omics’ it’s aimed at reviving the economy,
but the policy conflicts with conservative Japanese culture,
which encourages women to stay at home.
